It has been about 6 months since I discovered digital scrapbooking and I am just as obsessed now as I was when I first started. I enjoy being able to share my LOs with anyone who is interested in visiting my blog. I’m also happy to share links to the designers of all the wonderful kits I use in my work.
In addition to sharing my favourite pages with you, I plan to start adding a few new features. One feature will be tutorials for GIMP (the free program I use for digital scrapbooking). It can be challenging to find good tutorials out there for GIMP and often when I do find what I need, it’s for an older version of the program. Through trial and error, I’ve figured out how to do a lot of things with the program and I am happy to share what I’ve learned.
I will also be sharing some of my templates. I have really enjoyed learning how to make templates and I figure why not share them. It’s always great when you find just the right template for a page you have in mind. It makes it much easier to put it all together. Hopefully my templates will inspire someone else!
I also have another special project that I am very excited about, but I’ll save that for a later date.
In the meantime, here is a recent LO I made of my daughter when she was a baby. One of the great advantages of having just discovered digital scrapbooking is that I have thousands of photos already waiting to be used. If only I had more time…
