We had a great weekend. My brother came to visit and he played with the kids basically non-stop for two days. It was great seeing him and getting to spend that time with him.
Unfortunately, I am dealing with the after effects of a very busy weekend. J is in the worst mood today. There have been a number of meltdowns and the morning has basically been a write-off. Fortunately, he is now sleeping and will hopefully wake up in a better mood.
Here is a page of my little man, working on his tractor.

This past weekend (November 3rd and 4th) was International Digital Scrapbooking Day. It’s an exciting time for all digital scrapbookers and designers alike. This is the third time I’ve participated in the IDSD weekend and, I believe, it was my most successful. I snagged some gorgeous free kits and have been busy playing with them.
Here is one of the pages I have made. The kit is “Clementine” by Tickled Pink Studio
I’ve been away from my computer for a few days (for Thanksgiving weekend), so I needed something to get my mojo going again. I decided to use a couple of templates to create some layouts I’ve been meaning to do.
The first template is “Cut It” from Studio Basic Designs. I used papers from the kit “Inspire Me” by Jen C Designs.
The second template I used was “Single 18” from Sweet Shoppe Designs. The kit is “Loving You”, also by Jen C Designs (I’m a big fan of hers!). The beautiful baby is my daughter when she was nearly 3 months old. Seems like a lifetime ago!
If you love what you see and wish you could do the same with your pictures, contact me (visit Jennifer Martin Designs for more details). I would be happy to digitally scrap your photos!
I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely fall weather. It is gorgeous out there!
There is no denying that Fall is here. The weather is cooler, the trees are beautiful and two big holidays are coming up – Thanksgiving and Halloween. In fact, I was just reminded today that Thanksgiving is just a week away. Crazy!
So, in honour of the Fall holidays, I’ve released a few new prints in my Etsy Shop. Come check them out!
It’s been a pretty busy week this week. My husband was out of town on business, so the kids and I had to fend for ourselves. But with L back at school, the days were pretty laid back and easy, just J and I. We managed to get a bunch of errands done in the mornings and then he slept all afternoon. This gave me plenty of time to work, which was wonderful! I really look forward to my quiet afternoons scrapping on my computer. I’m finalizing a few new prints to add to my Etsy shop next week, which I will share with you here when they are up.
For now, here is one of the prints I made this week. It is a picture of J and I from April.

I have been busy getting everything ready to launch my new product – custom-made Baby’s First Year Memory Books. They will be available in early 2013 through my website. My current task is creating sample pages using the adorable baby kits I have purchased to give potential customers an idea of what I can do for them.
Here is a page I made of my children using one of the kits, “Trunk-full of Love (boy)” by AliSarah digiscraps.
From September 1st to December 31st, everyone who purchases a print either in my Etsy Shop or at Jennifer Martin Designs will be entered into a draw to receive a $50 gift certificate to be used towards the purchase of a Baby’s First Year Memory Book. The gift certificate will be transferable, so the winner can choose to use it for themselves or give it to someone else as a gift. Gift certificates for any of my products will be available in time for the holidays. Contact me for more information!
Good luck to all and have a good week!
It has been a month since my daughter finished her first year of school. I wasn’t sure what to expect this summer, but for the most part, it has been really nice having her home. My son loves having a playmate around all the time and we have done some really fun activities almost every day. So far, their favourite thing to do is go to the beach. We’re so fortunate to have access to beaches and I plan on making a few more trips before the end of the season.
With the extra family time in the summer months, I’ve had less time for scrapping. But I have managed to get my Etsy shop set up and start selling some prints through there and through my own business website. So while it has been slow, it has been moving along.
I will update soon with a few of the prints available in my shop. For now, here is a print I made just today using the kit “Always In Our Hearts” by Scraps N Pieces
