As I have mentioned before, I am working on brag books for both of my children. At the end of each year, I will print them in a book and they will have them as keepsakes when they are older. I think the books would also make great gifts for family members. I have shared a couple of the pages I have made so far for Leah’s 2011 book here and here. Tonight, I want to share a couple of the pages I have made for James. I decided to make his in black and white and so far, I am pretty happy with how it is turning out.
Internet issues and a teething baby have kept me from posting anything this week. My internet connection is still iffy, but I wanted to post a couple of pages I’ve made for Leah’s 2011 brag book. I am sticking to one kit for the whole book. It is from a recent blog train at scrapbook.hu. The theme was “The Flower of Naturalness”. Here are my pages for January and February.
One of the projects I will be working on is brag books. We have thousands of pictures of the kids and it would be great to pull out the best ones from each year and create an album with them. I plan to do one for each of them every year. It means I have a bit of catching up to do for Leah. The pages will be 5×7. I haven’t decided how many pages they will be yet, but at least 16 – one for each month, with a few extras. Once they’re done, I’ll print them out as keepsakes. Leah loves looking at pictures, so I think this will be a big hit with her.
Here is the cover page for Leah’s 2011 brag book. Since I really love “The Flower of Naturalness” kit, I will probably stick with it for the whole book. I will probably use a different picture, but I’ll wait until the end of the year to decide.
